“Serving those in need, who honorably served.”

The mission of Liberty Manor is to provide transitional, supported housing to honorably discharged veterans by establishing long-term objectives designed to attribute to self-sufficiency. Liberty Manor was organized in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the objective of promoting the development and social needs of veterans who have served our country and fought for our independence, but fallen victim to homelessness. This initiative serves the most deserving yet overlooked individuals of our community. The homeless veteran we serve has exhausted all reasonable alternatives that will address their immediate financial or residential needs.

Liberty Manor is the first initiative of its kind in AMERICA as we are not a substance abuse addiction program nor do we have a mental health component. We are the first program that merely serves homeless veterans who either lacks this diagnosis or is merely “down and out”. The Veterans Administration only provides housing to veterans that suffer from substance abuse or mental health; therefore veterans that do not have this disability do not receive the benefit of housing.

A glimpse into the lives of these brave often unsung heroes offers all of us perspective. These men bravely served our country and were willing to pay the ultimate price if necessary. Many were forced to leave behind loving families for months, years, or sometimes forever. This initiative offers us a great opportunity to pay homage in a significant way.

While our needs are many, even a small donation could have a significant impact in the lives of our veterans. We vow to earn your commitment to our program. On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff and our veterans, we thank you in advance for your consideration.

With Kindest Regards,
