The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme

at the Athénée de Luxembourg Open Day 2014

Innovation is our tradition: the Athénée de Luxembourg has created a 4-year international course of study which comprises two levels:

 Following the two preparation years (10th and 11th grades) students complete the IB Diploma Programme (12th and 13th grades).  Although students can join in grades 10, 11, we advise students from the regular Luxembourgish system to join in grade 10.  The Athénée acquired the status of IB World School in February 2010: we are officially authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate and the two final diploma years - from September 2010 onwards.

Come to our Open Day on 1st March, find out about the programme, visit the school, its facilities, talk to teachers and students.

9 h30 - 10.00: Visit of science, music, art rooms (Atrium) 10.15 - 10.45: presentation of IB (Salle Folmer) 10.45 – 11.00: intervention of students from3e, 2e, 1e 11.00 - 11.30: Question time 11.30 - 12.30: Complimentary Drink offered by the AL (Atrium)
