Human Resources Employee Services Representative

As an employee of Coborn’s, Inc., the Employee Services Representative will partner with Store and Department Leaders and provide HR expertise on all aspects of human resources including, but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training & Development, and Safety. Duties will include leading talent acquisition activities (sourcing, interviewing, and presenting offers to candidates), conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and according to state and federal laws. Will also act as a liaison between employees and management. Involvement includes employee investigations, providing coaching, communicating policies and procedures, implementing recognition/retention strategies, and determining proper corrective actions.

Coborn’s is expanding the Employee Services Representative model and adding 3 new positions, each supporting 2 locations as follows:  Coborn’s Cooper Ave. St. Cloud and Coborn’s Centennial St. Cloud  Cash Wise East St. Cloud and Coborn’s Foley  Cash Wise Hutchinson and Coborn’s Montevideo

Requirements Include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (preferred). One to three years of experience as a HR Generalist. Working knowledge of all employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, Americans with Disabilities Act, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and Harassment. Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment. Ability to speak effectively in front of large audiences. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills. Take initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations to implement.
