Line Workers This job category is responsible for the installation and repair of overhead and underground distribution and transmission lines, poles, transformers and other equipment. Titles include line worker, line installer, lineman, linewoman, underground mechanic, underground specialist, towerman, towerwoman.

Plant/Field Operators This job category is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all primary and auxiliary equipment required to generate electricity or meet gas customer’s demands. Titles would include power plant operator, technical operator, and mechanical operator.
