City of Bloomfield City Council Meeting Regular Session November 14, 2007 6:30 p.m.

Mayor McAnally called the meeting to order. Those present were: Steve Larsen, David Wilson, Sr., Tom Bischof & Don Rhodes. Glen Hollis was absent. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Public comments: Gary Gaskins was present & stated he had taken a petition around the housing authority regarding speed bumps & stop signs being put on Hester & Reed streets. After some discussion Ald. Larsen made a motion to have Chief Curtman do a study on this & report back to the council & Ald. Wilson second the motion. Ald. Bischof – aye, Ald. Larsen – Ald. Wilson – aye.

Ron Dreschel was present & asked if the fire hydrant located on Cape Rd. was on City property or his, the council explained it was on his property.

Approve minutes: October 22, 2007 - Ald. Wilson made the motion to approve these minutes & was second by Ald. Larsen. Ald. Wilson – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Bischof – aye.

Bills/Deposits: Ald. Wilson moved to approve both with a second by Ald. Bischof. Ald. Bischof – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Wilson – aye.

Merchant License: JDK Excavating – 24206 CR 249, Puxico, MO. Ald. Bischof moved to approve with a second by Ald. Larsen. Ald. Wilson – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Bischof – aye.

Jeff Evans – New Prof. Bus. Wrestling – 105 Barbara, Bloomfield. Ald. Bischof moved to table this until the next council meeting since it was in a residential area & was second by Ald. Wilson. Ald. Bischof – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Wilson – aye.

Ivan Mekan – Mekan Roofing - 507 Judy, Bernie, MO. Ald. Bischof moved to approve & was second by Ald. Wilson. Ald. Bischof – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Wilson – aye.

Michael Farmer – F & F Paving – 15478 St. Hwy WW, Dudley, MO. Ald. Bischof moved to approve with a second by Ald. Larsen. Ald. Bischof – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Wilson – aye. Building permits: Scott Gibbs – 714 Miller., Bloomfield, MO. & Eric Causey – 1102 N. Prairie., Bloomfield,MO. Ald. Wilson moved to approve both permits & was second by Ald. Bischof. Ald. Wilson – aye, Ald. Larsen – aye, Ald. Bischof - aye.
