NOTES TO STUDENTS / APPLICANTS

1. Research students are not allowed to enrol concurrently either on two full-time/sandwich programmes or one full-time/sandwich programme and one part-time day release programme, whether or not one of the programmes is offered by another institution. Written approval from the Research Committee should be obtained before registration in case you wish to enrol concurrently on one full- time/sandwich programme and one part-time programme or more than one part-time programmes, including those offered by another institution. Failure to obtain approval may lead to disciplinary action including discontinuation of study at PolyU.

2. Students who attend programmes concurrently should note that the University is not responsible for making alternative arrangement for clashes in timetables including examination timetables.

3. You must complete Sections I, II and III of the form and pass the form to the Academic Secretariat (AS) for further processing before registration on the programme(s) concerned.

4. You will normally be advised of the result of your application in writing within 6 weeks.

5. Please note that the information given in the form will only be used for processing this application.
