North Carolina District Pilot International Instructions for Scholarship Applicant

1. Complete attached application form as thoroughly as possible.

2. Include with the application the following items in this order: a. Cover letter from sponsoring Pilot Club, stating the following i. Name of Pilot Club ii. Scholarship Chair information (name, address, email and phone number) b. Application form (preferably typed) with extracurricular activities attached c. Description of community service activities and employment record, if applicable (may be attached) d. Letter stating career goals and why a scholarship is needed e. All high school transcripts f. Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a high school official

3. Note: The North Carolina District Scholarship is a one-time award. The scholarship award will be made directly to the institution according to its requirements upon verification of enrollment. Application packets must be received by the District Scholarship Committee Chair no later than March 15th.
