Brod Rob Was Born Robert Broderick in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Dec 1St 1982

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brod Rob began playing guitar at the age of 12, and songwriting very shortly after. After getting his toes wet at open mics in Pittsburgh and Wheeling, West Virginia, Brod Rob moved to Gunnison, Colorado to pursue music. Within a month, he helped form the early version of a legendary local electro- rock group called “Redhouse.” The band gained moderate success with their knack for danceable live shows and over the next few years had gained a fan base throughout Colorado and the west.

Eager to take things to the next level, Brod Rob decided to go to an arts institute that focused on music production in an attempt to hone his production skills and expand his fan base. This led to a solo move even further west to San Francisco, California. It wasn’t long before the other members of Redhouse, Paul Oliphant (Drums) and

Matthew Raymond Parker (keys/key bass) also relocated to the Bay Area to reunite with Rob.

The band toured the state of California and released a live disc under a small boutique record label, “Grow

Records” based in Berkeley, CA. Immediately Rob’s unique electronic rock and reggae sound captivated audiences all over. After two long years of playing clubs and festivals, Redhouse culminated in a Colorado tour that saw them playing alongside acts such as John Popper of Blues Traveler, Mama's Cookin', Tea Leaf Green, and Fred Wesley of the

JB's as well as DJ Logic and Z-Trip. Afterwards, the members of Redhouse decided to go separate ways. The result of this was the debut solo album from Brod Rob entitled “Falls” which is being released as a joint effort by Grow Records and San Francisco based Independent label Love Haight Records.

Once again reunited with former Redhouse drummer Paul Oliphant (whom is currently drummer of San

Francisco based bands The Afrofunk Experience and The Frail), the two men gathered a slew of musicians to record the highly anticipated solo debut. The album features appearances by Todd Holway, Steven Labella, and Zeb Early

(Mama's Cookin), James Riotto and Rob Sheldon (The Moanin Dove, John Vanderslice,, Sean Hayes) and R&B phenom Nanaushika.

The Brod Rob album “Falls” is a diverse, coherent, and exhilarating album. Brod Rob is currently preparing to play shows with members of The Afrofunk Experience and Mama's Cookin' and is also getting fueled up to do a West

Coast mini tour with dates all over California, Nevada, Oregon, and Colorado.
