Ouchi High School Weekly Focus Plan 2017-2018

OHS: A coordinated, whole-school effort to encourage all Ouchi High School scholars to cultivate academic courage by analyzing rigorous texts through annotation strategies and argumentative writing as measured by a CAASPP-aligned, school-wide rubric.

AP Standards:  AP-SP-LANG 6.0 The student plans and produces written presentational communications.  AP-SP-LANG 1.0 The student engages in spoken interpersonal communications. World Language Content Standards for California Public Schools  WL-A.4.0 Students acquire information, recognize distinctive viewpoints and further their knowledge of other disciplines.  WL-B.4.0 Students use formulaic language (learned words, signs [ASL] and phrases).  WL-B.4.1 Students engage in oral, written or signed (ASL) conversations.  WL-B.4.3 Students present to an audience of listeners, readers or ASL viewers.
