Donuts with Dad Thursday & Friday: It’s that time once again for our 6th annual, “A Donut with Dads” day. Please join us for some special time with your elementary child on Thursday, October 17, or Friday, October 18. Please bring a favorite book to share with each other during this time. You may also stop by our school book fair (located on the stage) at this time! Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. and we will finish at 7:45 a.m. To keep the cost down, we are asking that each person limit themselves to 1 donut and 1 piece of fruit. Coffee, water, and milk

will also be available. We look forward to seeing you once again this year!!

Firefighters: Our local Lakeville and LaPaz firefighters had an educational and fun day for the kids on Wednesday. Everyone learns so much on this day! Thanks Firefighters!

Pizza Party Box Top Contest Ends Friday! There is a total of 4 Box Top Contests! At the end of the year, we will take the total Box Tops collected and the top class in grades K-3 and 4-6 get to go bowling. Any questions, please call Christine Riddle 574-298-5502 or Dawn Borton 574-993-1755.

6 th Grade Volleyball: Big end of the year Volleyball Tourney Saturday, October 12, at Walkerton Elementary beginning at 9:00 a.m. We start with North Liberty and then play the winner of Walkerton vs. Knox. Let’s go Lancers!

Junior High Cross Country: The junior cross country lancers hosted the Northern State Conference Championships last night. In a near perfect weather outing, the lancers ran well against a fast field. Congratulations to Isaac Hall, Ashton Applegate and Emily Talaga! The Lancer cross country trio earned all-conference status last night via their placement in the Northern State Conference Jr. High Cross Country Championships. Great Job, Lancers! A reminder to all Jr. High cross country runners to turn in your uniform and warm-up either today or Friday in the main office.

Events Saturday: October 12! 6 th Grade Volleyball Tourney at Walkerton 9am Hunters Safety Course: October 12 & 13 (9am-2pm) Lakeville Conservation Club FALL FESTIVAL: Community Gospel Church, located on State Road 331 between Riley and Shively. CGC's 12th annual Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 12 from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

Girl Scouts: Attention 4th and 5th grade girls: Junior Troop 30462 is looking for all of our friends to join us for another amazing year of Girl Scouting!
