AUTO BODY COLLISION # 4 SYLLABUS

INSTRUCTOR: WILLIAM D. BARTO

COURSE CREDIT: 1 CREDIT PER BLOCK

TEXT BOOK: AUTO BODY REPAIR TECHNOLOGY

CLASS OBJECTIVES: To encourage students to build upon the knowledge they accrued during Auto Body 2 & 3. Student will prepare for the National Automotive Student Skills Assessment Test before his or hers graduation.

LENGTH OF STUDY: Students who wish to pursue the entire course of study will take four levels of study also the students EOY grade must be above 70%.

MATERIALS NEEDED: Student must bring their prior note book to class. OSHA Approved Safety Glasses Coveralls and shoes to be worn the Lab area. New Spiral Notebook

Safety Supplies: Students must supply their own safety glasses and purchase a paint spray mask at the cost $25.00 dollars. Payment is due by 9/13/2013. These items must be purchased thru the Auto Collision Lab. (MANDATORY ITEMS FOR USE IN THE LAB AREA)

(Make checks payable to East Ridge high school) Students ONLY closed toe shoes are allowed in the lab/class room areas. ALL students must follow the LCSB dress Code. ALL Students must have there ERHS school I.D. to enter the class.

CH 25: VEHICLE SERVICE PREP & MASKING

CH 26: REFINISHING PROCEDURES

CH 27: COLOR MATCHING & CUSTOM PAINTIN G

CH 29: JOB SUCCESS & ASE CERTIFICATION The Auto Collision course is a hands on course with an active lab. You as a student will be participating in the lab area along with classroom actives and participation.
