Important Dates Transitions Workshop Sunday, April 29, 2018 Committee Advancement Team Mondays, 6PM (Weekly) Unity Dinner April 2018 (Date To Be Confirmed) Mandatory Transitions Workshop, Trainings, and Interviews All students selected as 69th MSC Officers will be required to attend Transitions Workshop. Also, all students selected must sit on their respective interviews as needed and attend all mandatory workshops and trainings implemented by the Memorial Student Center. All MSC Officers are required to attend Unity Dinner which is put on by MSC Diversity. Students will notify the Vice President of Human Resources in advance if they are unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances. Committee Advancement Team The purpose of the MSC Committee Advancement Teams shall be to serve as bodies of governance, support, peer review, and development for programs, committees, and individual student leaders. CATs will consist of regular meetings that alternate between meetings for program approval and meetings for trainings, team- building, and other committee development functions to occur. Chairs should plan to attend all CAT meetings, which will take place on Mondays between 6:00-7:30pm. 1. Cover Letter: Provide a cover letter explaining why you want this position and how your previous accomplishments will contribute to your success (should be limited to one page).

2. Résumé: Provide a résumé detailing the experiences you have had which have prepared you for the MSC position you are seeking. Be sure to include all university-relevant information, significant activities which demonstrate specific position-applicable skills, as well as leadership and community involvement, specific duties performed, length in office, and awards or recognitions (should be limited to one page).

3. Goals Statement: Outline at least three goals which you hope to accomplish in your position. Explain how you plan to accomplish these goals and how each fits with the mission of the MSC and committee or resource area for which you are applying. When writing your goals statement, please
