Chapter 19, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended 34 by adding: 35 36 "Section 50-13-1921. It shall be unlawful to take more than one 37 blue catfish (Ictalurus furcatus) or one flathead catfish (Pylodictis 38 olivaris) 40 inches or larger from Lakes Marion and Moultrie, the 39 waters lying between the confluence of the Wateree and Congaree 40 Rivers, and the backwaters of Lake Marion and considered a part 41 of Lake Moultrie." 42

1 [451] 1 1 SECTION 2. Chapter 13, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended 2 by adding: 3 "Section 50-13-1625. It shall be unlawful for any person to have 4 in his immediate possession or control more than one live blue 5 catfish (Ictalurus furcatus) or one live flathead catfish (Pylodictis 6 olivaris) 40 inches or larger; provided, that the provisions of this 7 section do not apply to broodstock possession by aquaculture 8 concerns with a history of fish propagation." 9 10 SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the 11 Governor. 12 ----XX----
