ASSIGNMENT 10: PORCHES and HEARTH(S) DEMO(S): 1.None REVIEW: No review is typically scheduled at this point.

LECTURE / DISCUSSION: We “expect” by this point that students can construct the porches and hearths with no help.

PROCESS: We are roaming the labs at this point. Students have typically strung out on the assignments so unless we detect some common stumbling block, we are trouble shooting one on one or in small groups.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Make sure that when students Mirror the porches, that they either use the building centerlines to locate the Mirror line, or that they have Ortho On and are beginning at some midpoint. Sometimes students will rely on OSnap for the Mirror line, but the plan had become so complex that the OSnap will seek and find a point on some entity that’s “off” the horizontal or vertical axis.
