Dear Brother/Sister,

The 84th National Conference of Signalling and Operations Grades will be held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February 2017 at the Mercure Hull Royal Hotel, Hull.

The conference will commence promptly at 14.00 hours on Saturday and reconvene at 10.00 hours on Sunday. Delegates are requested to be in their seats 15 minutes before the start of conference for a prompt start.

Items for the agenda include invitations for conference venue, nominations for officers, executive committee seats and auditors, these must reach me by 30 November 2016. Executive committee seats are based on the AGM representation areas as follows.

As a Signalling and Operations Grades Conference we are only allowed to deal with matters domestic to the grades Signallers, Crossing Keepers RT1-RT10 ( includes MOM and SSM grades ) employed by Network Rail, BRB or the equivalent LUL grade.

Hull Branch are the hosts of the conference and are making the social arrangements, these will be confirmed shortly and details will be send to all branches.

Branches that have a member attending conference as a delegate for the final time in 2017 due to impending retirement before our 2018 conference are requested to supply me in writing with details of any such delegate(s).

If you are attending your final conference as a delegate due to retirement taking place prior to our 2017 conference, you should ensure your branch secretary advises me of this in writing.

The price is £50 including breakfast per person per night for a single room. £75 including breakfast for a double per night with double occupancy or £70 for single occupancy.
