1 6. Brief resume of the intended work: 6.1 Need for the study: World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) defines Physical Therapy as providing services to people and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the life-span.1 There is rising number of physiotherapist and approximately 25,000 thousand students enroll in physiotherapy colleges across India every year inspite of which very little is known about the Physiotherapy and its practice. One of the reasons for the slow development of Physiotherapy in India is the lack of statistical data on the Physiotherapy educational standards. Therefore, it is crucial to explore our Physiotherapy education and understand positive and negative aspect of it from student’s perspective.2 The practice of physiotherapy should not be defined by the use of modalities but rather the integration of examination, history and analysis of movement dysfunction.3 Physiotherapists provide services in various fields that include musculoskeletal, neurological, intensive care unit, geriatric, sports ,etc , the knowledge and perception of which is less among common people.3 Awareness of people regarding physical therapy techniques must be updated on regular basis to correct misconception among people and to create a more effective marketing services.4 Patient 2 9 Signature of the Candidate
