View Bid Results after an Acquisition Event Ends

Agency staff processing Request for Bids (RFBs) for an acquisition can easily see bid amount results after an event ends. SWIFT provides several ways to view bids. The SWIFT display of bid results does not take into consideration whether vendor submitting the bid is certified as Targeted (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED) or Veteran-Owned (VO). It also does not factor in the responsiveness of the bidders. Follow the criteria to analyze bid responses:  Preferences (TG/ED/VO)?  Did they answer all questions?  Did they respond to all factors?  Did they attach all required documents?

This guide highlights two commonly used ways that agencies can view the bid amount results: 1. By the total amount for all bidders. 2. By the line amounts for all bidders.

Use the Event Workbench to locate an event. Then, click on the Event Bid History icon. In order to view bid results, the Status of the event must be “Event Completed” or “Award Pending”. For more information about SWIFT modules, review the SWIFT Reference Guides. https://mn.gov/mmb/accounting/swift/training-support/reference-guides/
