The Mission of INSPIRE is to help our community: Live, Learn, Renew, and Sustain. Within the Spencer - Van Etten community, we will provide opportunities for life- long learning; encourage and enhance overall health and vitality; increase the availability and quality of individual and group housing; and provide assistance to projects, which promote economic renewal and development.

INSPIRE S-VE, Inc. (INSPIRE) accepts grant applications from individuals or groups residing and/or working within the Spencer-Van Etten School District. Grant funds may be used for activities both in the community and schools, particularly wherever creative approaches to learning have been hindered by limited resources. Deadline: N/A. Note: A proposal may have merit on its own, but will be considered in the framework or fit with the mission of, INSPIRE financial resources, and the entire pool of applications; as a result, not all proposals are funded. The application may be completed with Microsoft Word, and sent via email to [email protected], or postal mail to the above address. Applications not in this form or incomplete will not be considered. We will generally not fund more than two mini-grants for the same project. Agreement: By submitting this application, all grant applicant(s) will, if they receive a grant award: 1. Conduct the grant activities in accordance with the guidelines. 2. Submit a completed evaluation form, with receipts and unused funds, in accordance with the guidelines. 3. Contribute at least two hours of volunteer service at an INSPIRE-sponsored event not directly associated with their grant (Spencer Picnic, Imagination Fair, etc.), within one year from the application deadline date. 4. Provide a report to the INSPIRE Board upon completion of the program or project, pertaining to the stated goals of the grant. We encourage you to provide announcements, news coverage, and/or photos of the event or program for our files and public relation purposes. Application may be for one of three categories (Please see guidelines and policy, attached). Mini-grants, in amounts of less than $1,000, made to an individual or group, for an event or project that furthers the mission of INSPIRE. 2. Fellowship grants, in amounts of less than $1,000, made to an individual, for a unique educational or service project, within the scope of INSPIRE's mission. 3. Special grants, which may be for more than $1,000, made to an individual or group, in furtherance of INSPIRE's mission. Please categorize your proposal in each of the areas listed below.
