2013 ILLINOIS LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPLORER CONFERENCE CAREER FAIR

This years conference will be hosting a career fair on 08/05/13 from 1000-1600 near the conference registration table. Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies will be present, along with branches of the armed forces and colleges and universities with criminal justice programs.

This fair is designed to provide Explorers with an opportunity to speak with law enforcement officers from different agencies and disciplines regarding future career paths.

It is also an opportunity for law enforcement agencies to find qualified future candidates for sworn and non-sworn positions.

Law Enforcement Executive:

The 2013 Illinois Law Enforcement Explorer Conference is scheduled to take place at the Springfield Hilton August 5th through August 9th. The Conference Committee would like to invite a representative from your agency to participate in a career fair that will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Law Enforcement Exploring is a cooperative effort sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies that provide an opportunity for young men and women between the ages of fourteen and twenty-one to learn more about a career in law enforcement first hand. It also allows the youth an opportunity to assist their community by volunteering to assist their local police departments and to foster a positive relationship between youth and police.

This career fair is an excellent opportunity for your agency to meet with prospective candidates for both sworn and civilian positions – as well as providing an opportunity for the Explorers to learn more about your department. There is no registration or participation fee for this event.
