StuCo Announcements

-Killough’s Annual Talent Show is revving up...do you have what it takes to show off your talents and win? Application/signup info for tryouts are posted outside room 226! Tryouts begin on the 7th!

-Go out to Max Goldsmith Stadium as the Varsity football boys play their last home game tonight!

-This week is Stuff the Pantry! Bring in your canned goods, boxed goods and other nonperishable items to your second period to compete for an ice cream party! Get your items in by Friday

Open Gym Announcement

Today during block lunch we will have volleyball during open gym. Remember that food and drink are not permitted in the gym at any time.

Driver’s Education Announcement

Drivers Ed information is now available in the main office. Registrations is now through Dec 20, or until the class is full. Tuition is due by Dec 20. Classes start on Jan 10. Students must be at least 15 yrs old by Jan 10 to enroll, and they must also have good attendance. Classes will be held after school at LHS Main.

Father of Texas Day Announcement

Today is Father of Texas Day, in memory of Stephen F. Austin, the great pioneer patriot and the real and true Father of Texas. We celebrate the birthday of Stephen F. Positive Office Referral Announcement

Ms. Villarreal game Gema Orozco a positive office referral because she helped clean up a spill someone else left behind without being told to.

Justin Hoskins has made great improvements in PC and has been engaged in his learning – the results were a very high grade on his last quiz! Go Justin!

Christian Martinez is one of Mrs. Russell’s technology resources in class. He doesn’t hesitate to help his peers work through issues on their iPads.

Yaya Owens is always kind and caring to others. She will stick up for others and is a great leader/role model.

Pep Rally Announcement

“Students, today during Pep Rally time there will be a short video with tips from upperclassman on organization!

After the video, you will have time to organize your backpack, binder and notebooks as well as go through your planner, and create lists of things to do for this weekend! This is a great opportunity to get a great start for the second 9 weeks.”
