Mysterious donation for camp from Leighton Buzzard Buttles Nikki and Phil from Leighton Buzzard Buttles have very kindly donated some equipment to us for use at camp. We can’t let on what that is – you will have to wait until camp to find out – suffice to say that camp mum, Ailsa, has much evening fun and mischief planned for you ! Photos to follow after camp!
Whaddon Chase hunter trial – 9th Sept The Whaddon Chase hunter trial takes place on 9th September at Plum Park, Towcester with classes from 40cm to 100cm. We are now accepting entries. Pony Racing Taster Day - 3rd Sept The Grafton Hunt Pony Club are running a Pony Racing rally which is open to non-Grafton members. This will be at Highfields, Adstone NN12 8DS.

Area Dressage results Prix Caprilli. Well done to Katie, Chiara & Jamie who were 3rd overall. The best position the Whaddon Chase have finished in, & Jamie been best boy in his arena & 5th. Katie 3rd in her arena. You all put effort & lots of training in to achieve your good results. Thank you Guy for all your help & encouragement.
Grassroots. Charlotte T, Molly C, Jess B & Libby finished 4th overall & Qualified for the Championships. Hannah C, Harriet, Georgia & Chiara, all tried very hard. Most of you haven't done dressage before, you all knew your tests . You will find it easier next year with the experience & hopefully encourage you all to go on to the next stage.
Open. Well done Amy & Bonnie for qualifying for the Championships. You have achieved a great deal in 6wks of hard work.

Committee Vacancy Due to increasing family commitments, one of our fabulous committee members Liz Julier will be standing down from the Whaddon Chase committee creating a vacancy.
We are really fortunate to have a wonderful mix of parents and our Chief Instructor Ben, on our committee running our branch on a day to day basis, ensuring that every member really does matter.
Good organisational skills, communication skills, time and a flexible approach are essential qualities for our committee members. Please apply to Alison Cook before the end of August ready for submission to our next committee meeting in early September. Feel free to give me a call for more information. Whaddon Chase has been through tremendous changes over the last three years reflecting the modernisation within The Pony Club, but we are now coming to reap those benefits within our friendly, inclusive and increasingly competitive Branch.
Volunteering is very rewarding, and team work really does make the dream work. I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a great summer and see you all at camp. Don't forget our Wing Rallies finish on the 28 July with our regular rally program restarting in September, enabling our committee to have some well-deserved time off.
