Meeting Thursday April 30th 2009 Sunset Bay 12.00

Attending: Ray, Ralph, Roy, Pat, Lenny, Rose , Lindsay, Norme, Erwin, Rowena

Ray Bruce opened the meeting, minutes of last meeting on the web accepted.

1. Vote for President Roy Nelson was voted unanimously as President

2. President takes over the meeting Roy Proposed to chair a new meeting in the future for Rules and byelaws.

3. Vote for secretary and treasurer Pat Laming was voted unanimously

4. Treasurers report The report for this season would be published after the party but the current funds started at Minus 4000P as VFW had already paid 4000 towards the trophies for last season from this seasons funds.

5. New Schedule confirm teams playing Ocean Paradise was hosting a new ladies team called OP BAYWATCH, plus the 7 teams from last season, Pat to update the schedule.

6. Vote on proposal for new format The new format proposed by Pat was accepted giving us a format that could played by a minimum of four players without any forfeit. However the format was principally for six players and captains should make every effort to satisfy this. The new format will be posted in the web archive.

7. Vote on proposal for scoring system It was agreed to keep the current scoring system.

8. Vote for doubles format It was agreed that the last doubles game of each match would be the “ Scotch doubles” format where each player had only one shot then passed it to the next player.

9. MVP The president will call a captains meeting to discuss the future of the MVP award. ok that’s it meeting closed!
