Goal Increased understanding of the protection requirements associated with managing an agency-identified study and designated wild and scenic river (WSR), and evaluating water resources projects under Section 7(a) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (Act).

Objectives Increase participants’ knowledge in:  The provisions of the Act that guide management  Contents of a comprehensive river management plan (CRMP)  Application of the protect and enhance mandate of Section 10(a)  Requirements for protecting agency-identified study rivers  Process for evaluating a water resources project under Section 7(a)
