Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary, Inglewood, CA March 1995 – May 2003 (served approximately 1,300 families annually) Embalming Supervisor – management of preparation operations for funeral establishment; including embalming, training of apprentices and cosmetic applications. Implemented personal property and casket inventory system. Procured removal and decedent identification procedures resulting in reduced hazards while supervising the activities of 4 embalmers, 3 non- licensed staff.

Organizational and Administration Editor, Publisher The California Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association – Los Angeles Chapter newsletter, The First Call, which gave the 55 year old organization a presences and spotlighted senior members in the funeral profession; result, increased the membership by 50% (2001 – present).

CFD&EA – Los Angeles Chapter Board Member elected the President (2003 – 2005) incorporated the non-profit organization and implemented continued education programming for membership quarterly, wrote articles on community involvement and activities locally and nationally in trade journals. Appointed Chairman of the Board (2005 – present) spearheaded business / management / loss prevention seminars for funeral establishments and acquired resources for scholarships for African – American students of mortuary science.

Editor, Publisher Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity, Inc. Western Regional Newsletter, published quarterly to spotlighted embalmers in the fraternity, as well as articles to provide risk management tools to embalmers and preparation room supervisors. (2000 – Present).

END Mortuary Fraternity Board Member appointed Western Region Vice President (2000 – 2005) convener of the only Embalming Workshops and Conferences for continued education in California. Elected National President (August 2005 – February 2008) established cohesiveness as the national organization, increased revenue by 65% through re-establishing dormant chapters and increasing membership beyond racial barriers, Chairman of the Board (present). Nu Chapter, END, Education and Scholarship Chairman developed creative ways to raise chapter revenue and membership for 50 year old chapter with workshops, seminars and banquets. Spearhead scholarship programs for needy students for Cypress College, Cypress, CA and American River College, Sacramento, CA by secure over $20,000 in donations from various venders and corporations annually (1999 – Present).

Department of Mortuary Science Advisory Board, Cypress College organized seminar for resume development and interview preparation for students; in addition to co-chaired Job Fair Committee (2007) active member and representative for Rose Hill’s Mortuary (2005 – Present) Member.

Convener of Leadership Summit which served as an institute to train new leaders and officers to be more effective and productive for END Mortuary Fraternity. The summit later spearheads a speaker’s bureau that highlights extraordinary profession speakers (2005-2008).

FEE SHEET

Let’s talk about the case! I am delighted to confidentially discuss the general circumstances of the case, or my experience and qualifications at no charge. Please understand that I accept only a limited number of cases so that I might devote the necessary time that best benefits your client.

Should you choose to retain my services for examination time is billed at $180.00 per hour for services including, but not limited to, review, research and analysis: reports, conferences, site visitation and survey where appropriate together with a review of all Discovery materials and any other materials deemed necessary to reach and render an opinion in the subject litigation. A minimum, non- refundable advance retainer fee of $1,500.00 is required. Initial work will be charged against the retainer. Incidental expenses are billed for actual costs with appropriate receipt documentation.

Experience has shown that the typical case takes 15 – 24 hours, excluding travel and Court time. It is understood that I am retained solely by the attorney/ attorney’s firm (client) and no relationship exists between the attorney’s client and me. The attorney/attorney firm is solely responsible for fee payment.

Client is responsible for common carrier travel arrangements and actual expenses. Travel fees are billed at $60.00 per hour. No fees will be advanced by this office. A complete service agreement / contract will be submitted upon acceptance of service detailing the fees charged for opinion, deposition and / or trial.
