Students will conduct themselves according to the Purdue Honor Code and the ASCE code of ethics. Students who violate University rules on scholastic dishonesty are subject to disciplinary penalties, including the possibility of failure in the course and/or dismissal from the University.

Assignments:

1. Homework assignments are due at the beginning of the lecture period (late homework will not be accepted). 2. Assignments should be completed on engineering paper. Please write on only one side of the paper. Each problem will be self-contained (begin a new problem on a new page). 3. Work will be neat and organized. Use a straight edge to prepare sketches, to underline important information at intermediate steps in the solution, and to box the final answer. 4. Provide sketches to aid in illustrating intermediate steps and the solution when necessary. Lecture Topics Required Reading ______
