Twelve Year Old Provides Generous Contribution to Faith Hospice in Memory of Loved One

Twelve year old provides generous contribution to Faith Hospice in memory of loved one…

In 2012, twelve year old Adeline Steele made a generous contribution to Faith Hospice in memory of one of her great-grandfathers who passed away while in the care of Faith Hospice. Following is the note Adeline sent with the gift.

To the caring people of Faith Hospice,

I’m a seventh grader and I own a business, Redesign by Adeline, and I upcycle for charity. My mission is to make the world a little greener and kinder. I’ve been able to raise $443.30 for Faith Hospice. With the help of my customers, I hope that my contribution will be able to help others have a peaceful ending to their lives like my Great Grandpa Pierson had.

I would like to thank you for taking great care of my Great Grandpa (Howard) Pierson in his last days with us. It was his wish to die at home surrounded by family. The Faith Hospice team made that all possible along with the support of his family.

Sincerely,

Adeline Steele
