Hi ______, this is ______. I am the Mary Kay beauty consultant that is doing ______’s party on ______(day) at ______(time). Is now an ok time to ask you a couple of quick questions so I can be best prepared for you the day/night of the party? Great, thanks! Ok, first of all, have you ever tried Mary Kay products before?

If yes—do you currently use them or how long has it been since you were last facialed? Great--I will look forward to introducing you to the new face of Mary Kay!!

If no—Well, I am very excited that I will be able to introduce you to our fabulous line of products!!

______’s party is mainly going to focus on skin care with a touch of glamour at the end— therefore, would you describe your skin as more normal to dry or combination to oily? Great-- this allows me to fill your tray with the appropriate formula before you arrive.

Last question, if you could change anything about your skin what would it be?? (based on response get them excited about a product in our line that would help with their concern/issue)

Just a few more quick things, I will be doing an on-time drawing for anyone there on or before ______. And as I already mentioned ______’s party is mainly focusing on skin care so technically this will be our first of two appointments. I like to meet with each guest a second time to check up on the products they purchase from the party and then to play with color one-on-one. Many women like to go ahead and book that follow-up appointment with me now while they have their calendars handy. Is there any reason we couldn’t get that on the books now (if they say they want to wait, ask them to bring their calendars with them that day/night)? Great—thanks!!
