VERY IMPORTANT rECITAL NEWSLETTER Copeland Mills School of the Arts is a premier performing arts school that educates students in dance and music, AND in stage and performing arts etiquette. We hope you and your child enjoy your experience as we share theater arts, performance skills, and stage opportunities. Our shows are conducted professionally with a director, stage managers, audio and lighting technicians, stage backdrops, props, rehearsals, sound checks, special effects, costuming, photo shoots and more. We believe it is important for all of our students, children and adults be treated as star performers! Please take a few minutes to read this newsletter for the purpose of eliminating any surprises right before the Show. And OF COURSE, if you have questions, please call the studio and ask any of our staff for information (757) 482-2528.

(NO COSTUMES, DANCE ATTIRE ONLY) These rehearsals are MANDATORY -Please wear regular dance attire to our studio rehearsals. June 3 Saturday 9:00 a.m. –11:00 a.m. Act I 11:00 a.m. –1:00 p.m. Act II

June 10 Saturday 9:00 a.m. –11:00 a.m. Act I 11:00 a.m. –1:00 p.m. Act II These rehearsals are mandatory. You should have your child at the Studio 10 minutes prior to rehearsal to get warmed up and lined up for show rehearsal. After your child has performed all his/her numbers for the show, and it is approved by the Director, he/she may leave. Please make sure your child is present for these mandatory rehearsals. It is important for them to be prepared for what they can expect show night. Students need as much rehearsal as possible to feel comfortable on stage. Please arrange schedules to be at all classes, rehearsals, and performances through June 17, 2017.
