Lived moonless nights and starry days

A tale of hope he breathed

A warrior walked with hair of gray

An emerald blade he sheathed

A page brought to a planters side

And seeds of doubt were sown

But tares were tossed, the knight reaped fruit

From Neath a field of stone

Allied with greed to loose a bond

And urge to wave his hand

His trusted judgment found the One

A gem among the sand

He rides the winds of destiny

Shared by the ones that he set free

Blown far away from rules and sin Is truth the narrow-minded cannot see

A master high without a chair

A seer without a call

The first to give a martyrs blood

As dark returned to fall

The younger took his prize to shape

The elders crops did writhe

And paid the thief and split the land

Torn up with his red scythe

The Here and Now he taught to sight

His squire had kept his word

And won the fight with rage aside

Brought down with his green sword

His vergence waved a famine

In the wake of its dissent

A view became a template

And they meet with what was meant

His novice heard the whispers

Of his ashes in the gale And in the end, a flash of jade
