3 YEAR APPOINTMENT (LIMITED TERM CONTRACT) (JULY 2016-JUNE 2019)

The School of Indigenous Relations is seeking a candidate for a 3-year appointment. The position commences on July, 2016, or whenever it is filled with a qualified candidate.

It is essential that the chosen candidate have a Master in Social Work, or equivalent and/or a Ph.D. in the field of Indigenous social work/studies (desirable). They must have university teaching experience and have at least a minimum of three years’ experience in a First Nation or Indigenous organization or community. The candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Aboriginal social issues, Aboriginal traditional knowledge, direct practice, community organizing, social policy, and research experience.
