We've gotten quite a few calls from people about whether there is any transportation assistance to the SLD. I think as more people are interested in attending, transportation can be more of an issue - especially for those that do not live in a senior center or have much assistance from family. I looked on RTD's website about Call-A-Ride, and it doesn't appear that is a service if you live in Denver. But, the SeniorRide, if SLD was one of their designated events, then maybe we can coordinate with them for next year. Not sure how that works, but maybe someone at DRCOG does. There are no events listed on their website for June at all! The last newsletter showing upcoming events is from March. So, maybe we need to help them out a little. Maybe they are already going to be at SLD this year with info - not sure. They did have some really great outings in their March newsletter. Also, maybe there is a way we can find out if any of the local senior centers can offer rides to people - maybe some way they can coordinate information with us as this program grows? Just a thought... D

Hi Lisa:

You are awesome! It looks great. Thanks Carl & Sean! My suggestions & comments:

- Start with the long programs so the day ends with the shorter ones. -Yes, have Wills and Trusts x 4 as is POA's x 4. -I like the suggestion of moving the CBA table to a more visible area. -Yes, include topic numbers on schedule. -Regarding evals-I told my seminar people to please include contact info in order to receive a brochure next year, preferably by e-mail and that their info only would be used for this unless they asked to be contacted. Maybe have a check off box on eval for "Do you want us to contact you further, etc?" -Like the attendance frequency question on eval. -Parking: make a bigger push for seniors' communities etc. to use their buses and get people over. Also, maybe we can get more buy in from RTD and get it to schedule pick up locations around the city. If we had a certain number of mobility impaired people from a specific area, with lots of advanced planning, we could get an RTD pick up for them. Remember, I have my RTD director friend Bill McMullen, who would be very willing to help us. I'm sure he'd be willing to come to a meeting. -Overall, I think the transportation part needs lots more fine tuning. -Place all the elected officials such as the state senators and representatives and council members of Denver and our other target cities on the e-mail list to receive brochures and info so they can tell their constituents. -Do we need to better define our geographical target area? - Include more lower income senior housing type facilities in our mailings/e-mails. - Definitely pre-record seminars so they can be shown to seniors across the state, perhaps at senior centers and preferably on the same day as SLD live.

Have a great 4th!
