Coach’s Corner

Waveriders, it is important that your USA Swimming Registration is due by the end of the year. You must have this registration to continue swimming in 2008 and to eligible to enter the Shark Chase & CAT OPEN.

When you come to practice it is very important to be on time and have your cap & goggles on, then start your stretching. As said in the last coaches corner it important to focus on one item of your swimming to improve each day.

Listening to the coaches can be hard at times if you & your teammates are talking when directions are being given (especially in the bubble) Please help the coaches with this task. Practice is fun when working hard with a focus on improving a swimming skill. See you at practice. Mike

Team Holiday Party: Dec. 22nd Christmas themed movie (TBA) at Regal 16 Theaters at around 12:30, then Pizza at Leonardo’s from 3-5 PM. The cost will be $7.50 for the movie and $5.00 for pizza. All swimmers, both pools.

Lacamas Pool: No practice on Dec.18th because of a community swim meet. No practice on Dec.25th or Jan.1st.

Bally’s Pool: No practice on Dec.25th or Jan.1st. No practice on Friday night, Jan. 4th because of the Shark Chase team meet in Newberg.

Keep taking those coffee orders and turn in your order forms. Earn a team jacket now. Orders are filled every two weeks.
