I am a 17 year old looking for a Higher Apprenticeship in the Engineering industry, I have completed the first year of a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation study programme at TTE. I am mechanically minded, a quick learner and eager to learn and develop personal skills in a practical setting. I pay attention to instructions, carry out work with accuracy, precision and can work with minimal supervision. I have a good basic working knowledge of the products, tools and equipment necessary to carry out various jobs within Engineering. I am Health and Safety aware with a good understanding of risk assessments and safe systems within working environments. I am eager to undertake further training to gain qualifications and expand skills in order to build a successful career. I am very enthusiastic and would be a dedicated worker for any company.

Qualifications: 2016 - 2017 1st Year completed of an Apprenticeship in Electrical & Instrumentation NVQ Level 2 Extended Diploma in Engineering maintenance. BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Operations & Maintenance. All academic and practical Engineering work completed to a Distinction Level.

Work Experience:
July 2017 Participated in the SABIC Summer School,3 days experience and learning within SABIC including site tours, practical activities and time with SABIC colleagues to give me a taste of what a career in engineering has to offer. I was awarded a certificate on the completion of the course.
2016-2018 During my Diploma Study Programme at TTE I have covered the practical and theoretical skills associated with Engineering providing me with valuable industrial experience and academic knowledge. I have learnt how to install, maintain and calibrate components such as pressure gauges and transmitters that are used in controlling a process. Whilst completing my ‘Principles and Applications of Electronic devices and circuits’ course, I have acquired the theory and practical knowledge about the construction and operation of analogue circuits, construction and operation of logic circuits and how to use simulation software to construct and test circuits. I have completed my Mathematics for Engineering Technicians at ‘A’ Level standard to a ‘Distinction Grade’. I have completed ‘Electrical and Electronic Principles’ course learning about Ohm’s Law, the capacitance in DC and AC circuits, magnetism and the AC Theory.
2016-2017 Part time employment at Stokesley Football Club cafe. Duties and responsibilities included assisting customers, cooking, cleaning and managing the cash. PT work at the cafe has taught me the value of punctuality, team work, following instructions accurately, good communication and developed my confidence.
May 2015 Works experience placement at TTE - Developed basic understanding of the Electrical trade and assisted my career choice. I learnt numerous tasks including repairing and installing electrical components, assisting with repairs to a pillar drill and installing a taillight to a trailer. I received a letter of commendation from the CEO of TTE acknowledging my enthusiasm, punctuality excellent time keeping, hard work and mature attitude.
