Criteria for earning a varsity letter:

------
Absent from practice or game:
- If sick, then you need to call or email the school and let your coach know to keep it from being an unexcused absence. - For every unexcused absence you will miss a start. - The coach will decide when the player will play after this. - Late – The coach will handle this problem as it happens.
Unexcused absence – vacation, going out to eat, Saturday school, etc.
Excused absence – being tutored after school by his teacher (notify coach ahead of time), sick, personal family matters, school related functions (ex. – SAT or ACT or through another high school sport you qualify for one of their events – ex. - All-Star game), etc. The coach will decide when the player will play if length is longer than one day.
Coaches will handle any situations not covered.
