What Is The Point?

Once the sea of bad acting, poor facial expressions, and comic book introductions evaporates, it is quite clear what the videos are trying to achieve. The internet = money.

Very simply the internet is the last un-tamed media that also contains the power of business. This “business” however is not solely left in the hands of large corporations, governments, or geriatrics with deep pockets. Online…EVERYONE IS EQUAL. This is what makes the internet so amazing and still so untamed.

How is it that a business succeeds on the internet…Easy, well at least in retrospect? If you have the energy and charisma to get off your ass, just as in any other form of business, success will follow. Now, this is not a guarantee that your business will succeed, but your chances are exponentially increased.

How is it that everyone on the internet are potentially equals or have the same chance as another? The answer to this question is what essentially makes the internet sales world so intriguing. Everyone is given the same web space, the same space for a web address, and the same chance of their web space being accessed as the next person.

The only difficult part as I can see, is creating a product/service that pulls individuals into your web space. How is it that people are making so much money on the internet? There are many answers to this question. According to the short films, however, there seems to be a single re-occurring theme throughout…TIME. And why shouldn’t it be time? Time is how money is made, spent, and collected. Time means the difference between deep pockets or a life of mediocrity. How a person’s time is spent is truly what defines that person. Now, in the case of the internet, a person has all the time in the world to purchase a product/service. There are no holidays for the internet. No employees not showing up for work. The internet doesn’t even take sick days. An individual, potentially, then has 24 hours a day and 365 days a year to purchase whatever the hell they want. So, what does that mean? Profits…delicious, satisfying profits.

To summarize, the internet is now. The internet is the future. The internet is the new way of life not just for businesses, but also for the consumer. Businesses will have to work harder, be increasingly different, and for once actually HAVE customer service that will make the customer want to return. If not…failure…no questions. There is a lot of money to be made via the World Wide Web. However, if not done correctly, there is possibly even more money to be lost. The decision is up to the business. Time is money.

Money is the internet.
