New CGI Animated TV Series, Twisted Whiskers, from American Greetings Properties, Mike Young Productions & DQ Entertainment Sold by Taffy Entertainment to France and the UK Markets

New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA - October 13, 2008 - Taffy Entertainment and American Greetings Properties announce that France’s CANAL+ and the UK’s BBC have acquired the broadcast rights to the all-new “Twisted Whiskers” CGI-animated entertainment series. Now in production, “Twisted Whiskers,” targeted to boys and girls 4-12 years old, is scheduled for an early 2009 debut. The series includes 52 ten-minute episodes and 30-second shorts in high- definition.

Produced by American Greetings Properties, Mike Young Productions (MYP) and DQ Entertainment, the “Twisted Whiskers” animated series is based on the wildly-popular American Greetings Corporation card line featuring a “twisted” bunch of cats and dogs. Launched in 2001, Twisted Whiskers became the fastest-selling summer social expressions line ever developed by American Greetings Corporation.
