Women and Children Services - announcement of new agreements for Handheld Dopplers. Handheld dopplers for both obstetrical and cardiovascular use are included in this category. Vascular dopplers include bidirectional and nondirectional, while obstetric dopplers come with and without fetal heart rate visual indication. The dopplers offered in this category also include dual functioning features for detection of fetal heart and cardiovascular rates.

Surgical Services – announcement that effective May 1, 2011, C.R. Bard has added FIXT and Alyte T products to their Surgical Incontinence Contract, PP-OR-538. The FIXT is a deep suturing device for small spaces, and the AlyteT is a Y-shaped mesh construct designed specifically for sacrocolposuspension/sacrocolpopexy procedures.

Surgical Services – announcement of new agreements for Laryngeal Mask Airways. A laryngeal mask airway is an alternative airway device used for anesthesia and airway support. It consists of an inflatable mask and connecting tube. It is inserted blindly into the pharynx, forming a low- pressure seal around the laryngeal inlet and permitting gentle positive pressure ventilation. All parts are latex-free.

Imaging – announcement that Swissray International (PP-IM-105) has decreased the list price on its entire Digital Radiography Systems, effective April 1, 2011.
