Breakfasts on a Budget

Are you between the ages of 7-11 years old and want to learn how to cook? Do you want to learn how to stretch your family’s budget by making healthy and delicious food at home?

If so, be one of 10 children at a hands-on workshop on Sunday, March 29th from 12:00-3:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix.

Learn how to prepare 8 healthy breakfasts that can be frozen and eaten during the month of April on the weekends.

Youth volunteers assist children in preparing, cooking/baking, packaging, and labeling food for at-home use.

The cost for the event – which includes 8 breakfasts to take home, a recipe booklet, and light lunch – is only $5.
