The Committee on Professionalism is responsible for identifying best practices in professionalism and addressing unprofessional behavior within the UF College of Pharmacy using a systematic process. The committee membership consists of faculty and staff from all four campuses, along with the student council president from each campus and 2 additional student representatives from all four campuses. The committee meets on an as needed basis at various times during the semester to discuss unprofessional reports obtained from faculty, adjunct faculty (i.e. preceptors), staff, or students. The Committee reports their deliberations to the Senior Associate Dean for Professional Affairs.
Students reported through the year for best practices in professionalism will be recognized at the end of the year during the awards ceremony.
