"On [Thanksgiving] let us gather in sanctuaries dedicated to worship and in homes blessed by family affection to express our gratitude for the glorious gifts of God; and let us earnestly and humbly pray that He will continue to guide and sustain us in the great unfinished tasks of achieving peace, justice, and understanding among all men and nations and of ending misery and suffering wherever they exist." -----President John F. Kennedy, Nov. 4, 1963

The Great Box Giving Extravaganza: Redux

What is it? The Youth Service Center is collecting shoeboxes filled with Christmas goodies for the Annual Kenton County Family Resource and Youth Service Centers’ Holiday Shop in December.

What do I do? We are asking that you fill an average shoe box with items that kids would like to receive for Christmas. The cost per shoebox should range from $10 - $15.

Also, if you do not want to do the shopping, I will take care of it for you! Simply place your donation in an envelope marked YSC Shoeboxes and bring it to the main office. Items will then be purchased and wrapped for you. 2 If you would like to buy multiple items and have me do the packing that works too!

When does it happen? All donations should be sent in to the YSC in room 217 no later than December 7th.
