If a Supercharged NC Is in Your Bucket List Or You Just Want to Experience One, Then This

If a supercharged NC is in your bucket list or you just want to experience one, then this is the meeting you do not want to miss. Shiv Pathak, owner of Vishnu Engineering of Danville, CA. will discuss his new electric supercharger and Open Flash Tablet for the NC, and have a prototype on hand for demonstration rides.

Without getting into too much detail, the benefits of this design, which was developed by Phantom for the Toyota FRS, are numerous. While it is not CARB approved, the installation and uninstallation is simple enough that one can take it off at smog time. It is virtually maintenance free and since it does not have to over come the backpressure of a turbo or belt drag of a conventional supercharger, it achieves gains of 47 HP and 60 ft. lbs. of torque with only 5-PSI boost. A boost pressure this low that is only on demand, should not compromise the longevity of the engine.

The cost of the ESC kit, battery pack and ECU calibration with the Open Flash Tablet is projected to be around $2500. If you are interested in driving the prototype you will want to get to the meeting early to get your name on the sign up sheet.

Also, new member, Ari Azad will be there to discuss his experience with using the Open Flash Tablet to recalibrate his ECU on his naturally aspirated 06. The Open Flash Tablet alone is $499.
