Mechanical solution for problematic hip joint through use of modern mechanical engineering tools. Other thing which interests him is study of history and cultural diversity of our nation.

He was the coordinator of Rural Technology Development Club, IIT Patna for the Academic year (2015-2016) where he mentored the students in their 1st / 2nd year of B.Tech who were working on projects for the rural development He worked on the fabrication of "Lac Bangle Machine" for automating the process of Lac Bangles production in MSME Muzaffarpur He utilize his weekends in Teaching and organising events for the students of nearby schools He always enjoy working with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, IIT Patna and NSS, IIT Patna for the betterment of the Govt. schools of Amhara and Dilawarpur He aspire to be a social entrepreneur by reforming rural education. During graduation, he presented poster on "Chromium Degrading Bacteria Isolated from Industrial Belts" in the 100 Indian Science Congress on January 2013 In the same year, he was also associated in a project work with the TATA Company, which was focused on isolation and cultivation of ALGAE for use in carbon sequestration He represented his college at Acharya Satyendra Bose Science & Technology Fair emphasising on the impact of global warming and the role of the Society in environmental conservation and was awarded the second prize

MR. PANKAJ ARORA POSTGRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING IIT MADRAS
Areas of Interest:
Nano photonics and Microelectronics: The topic of his Ph.D. work pertains to the demonstration of a colorimetric label-free refractive index and thickness sensor using hybrid mode plasmon imaging on engineered nanostructures. The proposed imaging sensing technique with engineered plasmonic nanostructures is found to be a promising tool to distinguish refractive index and thickness induced surface modifications for both thin and thick analytes. The purpose of the work is to establish the foundation of stain- free, on-chip, color-contrast imaging sensor, where the optical image read- out of the sensor could be visually interpreted for surface modifications.
