Lloyds Tsb Launches Bringmeä - a New Employee Benefits Scheme

72/03 2 June 2003

LLOYDS TSB LAUNCHES BRINGME - A NEW EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SCHEME bringme, a new voluntary employee benefits package which helps employers up and down the country to offer their staff an individually tailored range of products and services, is being launched today by Lloyds TSB.

Available online or by telephone, bringme is easy for companies to launch and can be accessed by employees at work or from home. bringme provides each participating company with their own relationship manager who will be on hand to ensure the smooth running of the service and to provide ongoing advice and support. The relationship managers will also have access to a wealth of on and off line support materials to help promote the service in a way that suits each employer.

The bringme service is centred around a personalised website, telephone service and dedicated relationship management, from which staff can purchase a range of products - from mortgages and car insurance to CDs and holidays. Not only can staff benefit from the discounts on products from handpicked suppliers, but a company’s existing benefits package can be integrated into bringme providing the ultimate ‘one stop shop’ for staff and employers alike. …../more LLOYDS TSB LAUNCHES BRINGME A NEW EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SCHEME……/2

The service encompasses nine main categories: entertainment, gifts, health and leisure, home and garden, insurance, money, motoring, technology and travel. Suppliers in each of these fields are carefully selected by Lloyds TSB and constantly reviewed to ensure that employees can take advantage of the very latest deals on offer.

Matthew Ansell, head of marketing at bringme, explains: “We believe that there is a real gap in the market for a voluntary benefits package which has the flexibility to tailor products and services to the needs of its clients. This is an exciting step for Lloyds TSB and I believe that our customers can not only benefit from the experience the Lloyds TSB group as a whole possesses but also, crucially, from our enormous buying power and wealth of online retail experience.”

Matthew Ansell, continues: “bringme’s simplicity and flexibility makes it ideal for any HR department struggling to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. Not only is it easy and fun for employees to use but the specially negotiated discounts and wide range of quality goods mean that we are making life easier for people who want to buy those essential day to day purchases.”

Marilyn Graham, Customer Service Leader at William Grants & Sons Distillers Ltd, who took part in the pilot, agrees: “As an employer with over 670 staff based at 4 locations in the UK, devising a benefits package appropriate to all of them is no mean feat. bringme was easy to both implement and run and, importantly, offered us the flexibility to choose the benefits our own staff most value.”
