VIII. REPORTS A.S. Advisor – Senate applications are due 9/11/15. She reminded all candidates that your schedule must be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3:00 and 5:00. Edwin added that the volunteer hours can be added up until the interview date. Applicants must attend 4 senate meetings prior to interviews. A.S. Secretary - Leslie reminded all senators that agenda items to be discussed should be an actual discussion item and back up information sent if possible. If an item is just an idea, that should be reserved for board communication A.S. President – Rene Jimenez met with Mike Gregoryk, and said that discussion for the new Student Center will start in January. Also, a student representative is needed for the design committee of this project. Rene presented a power point on the water bottle initiative. $4700.00 is reserved for the purchase of water bottles. A.S. Vice President – Karen Osorio reminded all that the Chat with the President has been changed to Pizza with the President. The hashtag challenge during Join A Club resulted in over 200 postings. Tannia Robles in HSO needs 6 tour guides for a tour tomorrow for high school students. The Student Services Fair is tomorrow from 10:30-12:30 and 4:30-6:30. Student Trustee – September 9 is the next board meeting. ICC Report – Fabian Pavon said that HSO wants to get more clubs involved in going out to the high schools. September 28th is the Officer/Advisor meeting.

VIII. BOARD COMMUNICATION – London Richmond reported that football lost game 30-6. Home games will be at Mt. SAC from now on. Soccer is undefeated. Women’s Golf 4th in South Coast Classic. Beverly Yan thanked everyone for their efforts, it’s a lot more work with fewer senators. She appreciates everyones time.
