College flies by so quickly – remember to get involved! This will help you not only meet some really great people, but also participate in resume building opportunities. Have you done any internships/research/study abroad? Yes! I studied abroad in Florence, Italy in the fall of 2012. I would definitely recommend going abroad to everyone! I had never been to Europe before, and did not speak Italian – so I was definitely nervous. It turned out to be the best experience and I learned so much. I was able to see amazing art, churches, and different perspectives of how design is taught in Europe. I was exposed to many new foods, culture and people. Not only did I meet some of my best friends that I am still in touch with, but it taught me so much about myself.
