SPN 1121L Elementary Spanish II Laboratory (1) (A.A.) Required on-line companion lab and co- requisite for SPN 1121.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student, at the successful completion of the course, will be able to:

1. Pronounce almost any word accurately in Spanish. 2. Understand more complicated levels of spoken Spanish. 3. Understand and be able to use regular and irregular verbs in the present and preterite tenses. 4. Understand and be able to use nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, direct objects, and indirect objects in more complex sentences. 5. Understand and be able to carry on a more advanced conversation in communication areas such as: classes, abilities, majors, home and its rooms and contents, places in the neighborhood, household chores, describing events in the past, reporting a crime to the police, ordering in a restaurant, cooking, etc. 6. Feel relatively comfortable conversing in Spanish on a fairly wide range of basic subjects.
