00:45 CLIP: ANGELINA JOLIE – UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador “ The Turkish government and the Turkish Red Crescent have been extraordinary in their generosity. All they've done, they are very organized. We are just grateful they have made a point of saying they are not forcing anybody back. They will keep their borders open and they are saving the lives and making a difference to all of these children and their families. So, we are all very very grateful to them.”
Jolie met families caught in the crossfire of the conflict. This latest crisis in the Middle East has brought 10,000 refugees into Turkey. And displaced thousands inside Syria….both situations the GWA says she will be following closely

02:01 CLIP: ANGELINA JOLIE – UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador “ From being here. First of all I have been to Syria before and I have met Syrians before and they are a beautiful people and the children are lovely and intelligent. What I have been most impressed by, impressed and disturbed by, how much they understand what is happening in their country. How they speak about family members being killed. Themselves hearing gunfire…Seeing their houses bombed. Having to leave everything. One kid explained…I said ‘What did you come with? Did you pack? He said, I have my shirt. But that’s it.’” SHOTLIST: 00:15 AJ walking with UN staff 00:18 crowd cheering freedom 00:23 AJ with translator talking to refugees 00:27 Soundbite - AJ “How have you found it in Turkey?
