This project is for a MAJOR GRADE. Each student will be given a different country in Latin America. You will design a PowerPoint presentation about your country. It must include the following:

Cover Design of your choosing Include: name of country, your name, and period. Include 15 pts. ______this rubric sheet (-10 points if not turned in)

Section 1 Maps & Statistics Include: a. Political map with capital identified b. List major cities (identify at least 5 on the map), c. List: population (country and capital city), geographic features, climate/weather, and natural resources 10 pts. ______

Section 2 Government & Economy Include: Flag, type of government, currency, currency exchange Rate with US dollar, exports/imports, type of economy, GNP/GDP/Per capita 10 pts. ______(use pictures to illustrate)

Section 3 Culture Include: Clothing (at least 3 examples each) traditional & today, food (at least 3 examples), language, recreation, music, religion, education, holidays Include: major sites of interest-tourist sites (at least 3-5). Include: pictures & examples of all 40 pts. ______

History & Facts Include a brief history (about a paragraph) and at least 5 interesting facts. 15 pts. ______
