 TERAS for SPDP 5

A new party to accommodate the former SPDP 5 which most likely will be registered before the 13th general election is said to be now on the card. Sources told The Borneo Post here yesterday that a new party called PartiTenaga Rakyat Sarawak (TERAS) had recently submitted its application to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) for registration.  Increase in Electric Cost

The parliment announced on 22th July last year that the electric bill will be revised every two quarters, next revision scheduled at Feb 2010 is just around the corner.

A minimum wage of RM900 a month has been set for private sector workers in Peninsular Malaysia while their counterparts in Sabah and Sarawak will take home RM800 a month.

This works out to RM4.33 per hour for those in the Peninsular while employees in Sarawak, Sabah and Federal Territory of Labuan are to be paid a minimum of RM3.85 per hour.
