Program Ideas:

 Find ghost stories from your area in Tales of Kentucky Ghosts. Have teens interview people from the area and see if they have heard of the stories. Have them see how many other ghost stories they can collect by interviewing people.  Have the teens conduct an investigation into one of the ghost stories from your area in Tales of Kentucky Ghosts.  Have teen write and share new ghosts stories about your town. Have them use real places or landmarks.

Possible movies include: The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Forbidden Planet (1956), Planet of the Apes (1968), War of the Worlds (1953), Earth Versus the Flying Saucers (1956), Bodysnatchers (1956), and It Came from Outer Space(1953).  Have teens write the message they would send into outer space if they had the chance.
